1970s desk lamp by Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide, designed by company founder Ernesto Gismondi.
As featured in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY. This is the original design, first edition without the aluminium shade cap.
Excellent condition, the lamp looks like it's never been used and could well be NOS (New Old Stock), or ex display. Fully functioning. Barely any signs of use, no damage or paint loss, barley a mark. Original EU plug, but can be supplied on a UK 3 pin plug.
Supplied with brand new Cornalux bulb, as was originally intended for this lamp.
