British made extra large and very substantial inspection lamp manufactured by Walsall. Believed to be from a marine environment.
This rugged industrial lamp was designed to withstand the harshest conditions (claims to be flameproof!), it's weight and construction reflect that! Every part is over engineered, from the indestructible metal parts to the thick glass bulb protector.
The lamp has been sympathetically restored to preserve all of it's industrial character. Original 'duck egg' grey/green paint, bare metal cage and cord grip and undamaged glass domed bulb holder.
The lamp would look amazing suspended, or equally could be placed free standing as per the pics.
In great original vintage condition.
Currently wired with 3.5m of new black cable and new black vintage style UK plug.
