Original first edition Fountain or Springfontein ceiling light, designed by French architect Bertrand Balas and manufactured by Raak, Amsterdam in the early 1970s.
2 sizes were orginally produced, this is the larger 35cm diameter version.
Superb light effect with light swirling up and being concentrated down at the same time.
In good original vintage condition, no damage. Original dark grey outer finish, white and chrome interior. Some light signs of wear as pictured. Original ceiling fixing with maker's mark. Takes a standard screw fit bulb.
